4. Tuesday is Democracy Day, so there is no class BUT you need to submit your FINAL PROPOSAL for Banner/Quilt through email (with images, dimensions, plan of action).

2. Begin working independently on Zipper Pouch.

3. Begin working independently on Shibori sample.
Watch one of the videos below to create a stitched Shibori sample for dyeing in class! Copy what you see in the videos or create your own design.Use the scoured fabric, a spool of thread, and a sheet of synthetic felt provided by Natalya.  Document the weight of each fabric piece before beginning to stitch.  Identify your sample with a simple embroidery symbol or an embroidered initial in the corner before binding the textile for resist dye.
