Through this project, I learned how to pattern in scale and how to replicate the object I wish to resemble. I was excited to learn about how to create creative patterns in various design that does not actually exist in the real object. However, from next time I would choose a different kind of fabric for some of the patterns because although some people like the subtle design of my glass holder, I was little disappointed that I could not present my hard work and time spent on a complicated and curved pattern that was very hard to sew. Sewing such a small object like glass container to sew with a sewing machine was overly complex thus I also wish that I could have enlarged the pattern or chosen a bigger object. Overall, I enjoyed patterning for the object the most and it was a great learning experience for me to create a pattern for an object.
