My idea for this project was to mimic the classroom in a chaotic and comedic way. I did this by creating a moving robot model using a youtube tutorial by Kajal Gada. Then I placed classroom objects on these movable robots. The robots move in a random way and speed using a random generator that chooses speed from a list. My control comes in with the ability to decide when each kind of object can start moving. I can also make the speeds regenerate by a key command. My plan for the performance is to choose when to change the speeds and allow chairs and objects to move to create an increasingly chaotic narrative of inanimate objects coming to life and navigating the classroom. If I were to change parts of this model, I would definitely try to make the moving objects more sentient by programming sensors so that they can bounce off the tables instead of getting stuck on them.
