The Great Jankini is a short of a magician with dark magic. We were going for a classic magician feel with some unusual magic tricks. The Great Jankini was made from pipe cleaners, fabric, a pom pom ball, and buttons to create a lively character. The shimmery fabrics were utilized to contrast with the black velvet background and to draw attention to his red facial features. The lighting and scene design resembles an old-fashioned stage. The curtains act as a framing device for the character and the compositions throughout the film.
