The essential objective for today is to review the proof-of-concept results from each group.
Announcements
The final class on Thursday Apr 27 will be an evening show after dark, starting at 9PM and running for about an hour. We will not meet at all during the usual class time. Please be sure to submit your final files on time that day so we can queue up the final show. You are welcome to invite friends to the viewing.
Live Testing
Please be sure to sign up for live testing slots. Times can be now be scheduled in one hour increments from 8PM to midnight. You are welcome to test after midnight but after reloading the standard show when finished please leave it dark.
The only day possible for an advance sound check is Monday April 24. Groups using sound please discuss this with Garth.
Proof-of-Concept Review
Each group has about 15 minutes to show and discuss their video. As you present, please consider: what feedback would be most useful to hear?
As you observe, please consider: how would you describe your experience of the piece? What do you see?
Final Show
Due: 4PM on Thursday Apr 27: Please send Garth your final show files (.pd2 and any associated media) to prepare for a live show.
Due: Apr 27, May 2: please create a course site post with the following:
- Written description of the project including title and list of students (due Apr 27)
- 4-6 photographs (due May 2)
- Embedded video of the final show (due May 2)
