Our performance is a commentary on the media and what it has been focusing on in recent times. We wanted to show the comparison between what is being covered on the media, versus what probably should be covered by the media. Additionally it shows how people only have so much bandwidth to pay attention to things, so we may miss what is really important. The spotlight represents the observer, or what the world is seeing. Just because something is happening, doesn’t mean it is being covered.
