For this assignment I wanted to look at three scales and the implications of the scale. For the first I thought about a human sized 4 bar linkage that creates an aperture… a hole perhaps large enough for another person to move through as it blocks their path. For the second I wanted the accentuate the flexing of the back or butt through the curling of external limbs. The over all effect is a flaring when flexing. For the third I looked at the fingers, making four bar linkages for each and extending then attaching pens at the ends of each. This created a sort of abstract drawing machine that could potentially result in art.
