This experiment using fabric, thread and string lights begins to unravel into an animated creature with different qualities and moods depending on how I control its movement. I started with attaching one piece of thread to control the fabric while keeping my hands out of the frame but then found that two pieces were much easier to control and brought the thing to life. I clipped together all the experiments into a cinematic experience and added some music to amp up the intended emotional response.
