The French artist Michel Blazy had a few installations using foam. These installations have foam oozing out of bins, or some tall and large structures. Audience can interact with the installation by touching the foam.
Creating foam uses simply everyday materials, and the shape of the foams is indeterministic yet expected. There is only control on where and when the foam is created, but from there not much is in the control.
I think this is interesting for our class because there are numeric controls, but there are also many freedoms and possibilities of what the exhibition ends up looking like.
