Luke Iseman developed sensors using an Arduino to regulate water and light for plants in his indoor garden. I chose this project because this course is centered around helping elders using technology and gardening is something my grandma is involved in. Since she stays at home all day, she started gardening to make use of her time, while providing the family with fresh vegetables and brightening the house with flowers. This product would definitely be of help to her because it would ensure that her plants are growing with optimal conditions like temperature, water intake, and sunlight it receives.
