Wednesday, September 21 Update

Today, we discussed how to export your file, as a Stereolithography File Type [.stl] – the universal file type, widely used in 3D Printing.

We continued by discussing Catalyst EX. Catalyst prepares your [.STL] File for 3D Printing on the Dimension 1200sst.

Lastly, we introduced the cloud Printing Platform for our NVBot Printers.

Monday, September 26 Update

Today’s Class is dedicated to Environmental Health & Safety’s Fire Extinguisher Training. This is required, to use the Laser Equipment located in Hunt Library, and anywhere else on campus.

Monday, September 19 Update

Today, we discussed 3D Modeling for 3D Printing. Specifically, how to create Surfaces from Curves, and then Join Surfaces into Solids.

Toward the end of class, we discussed how to export your file, as a Stereolithography File Type [.stl] – the universal file type, widely used in 3D Printing. We also briefly reviewed Mesh Editing Options.
