1. Technical Plan
    • The electrical side to our design is quite simple, as we just have 2 servos and a push button connected to an Arduino. The part where we are left with the most uncertainty is the mechanical side, specifically building the mask so we want to create a prototype of the overall frame of the mask. However, since only one of us currently has access to wire (and unbent paper clips) aren’t long enough, it might not be possible to create the frame as our proof-of-concept, at least for both of us. If only one of us is able to access wire, the other could maybe do the electrical components as their proof-of-concept.
  2. Project Management
    • In this project, because we are both trying to create our own masks, most of the parts will likely be done together, from wiring the electrical components to creating the mask from wire. The only part of creating our project that could be delegated that we thought of was the code, which is honestly not a very long or hard part of creating the mask. We may instead choose to delegate parts of the mask, once we actually have a proof-of-concept on the overall frame, but even that poses its challenges because the connections between the parts of the mask have to be thought of when designing the parts.
    • So far, scheduled zoom calls have been working well for communicating/coordinating across distance so we are likely just going to keep doing that, especially since we are not in the same area and will need to coordinate on most parts of creating our project.
