For our prototype we chose to create on of the panels from our table. In this prototype we were testing out the servo and how well the panel would shift. Overall, our concept worked well and we believe we can use similar logic for our next steps, but we need to improve our materials. We had a popsicle stick shift the the panel up, so we need to 3-D print a stronger piece. Additionally, our motor would move when turned on, so we will need to create a piece to ensure it will stay in place. We also had no place to put the load sensor in this model and need to figure out a location for the next iteration. Lastly, the four beams making sure the panel did not tilt will need to be improved because sometimes the beams would come out of the white pockets.
