The interaction I decided to focus on was the swatting away motion that people do when others are irking them. I thought it would be interesting to make an extra set of hands and attach it to a headband. This way, when a person wanted to activate the hands, they could just pull a set of strings to activate the hands. I underestimated the weight of the cloth, so it made pulling the strings downwards instead outwards a bit difficult. I think in the future I’d like to reinforce the hands to the headband more sturdily so that the flapping motion stays defined once placed on a users head.
