For this exercise I hooked up my phone to a external speaker and ran the app Speech Jammer, which outputs any audio signal 500ms slower than the original input. Then I rocked the internal volume on the phone down and up once and let the sound play through the speaker, where it was recorded and slowed down by the Speech Jammer in an infinite loop until the signal was destroyed.
