Maker Cards

The last item listed in the kit below, “Maker Cards,” are a special, custom designed deck of cards designed to help students who are new to the discipline of physical computing. They’ve been developed in partnership with IDeATe faculty members Marti Louw and Daragh Byrne as well as a group of student researchers.

There is a companion website for these cards, where you can learn more about each of the parts they represent. We’ll be using these cards, and associated online materials, in some of our classes this semester.

Kit contents

This semester’s kit is different from the usual, since we’re including many more tools for you to be able to work independently of the Physical Computing Lab.
