Mending – Tyler Koh
For my mending project, I decided to use an old piece of t-shirt I had that I would be willing to cut out. I did not have a “naturally worn” piece of clothing, thus decided to create a patch design with the skill I learned in class. I created a circle baseball-patch, with each seams knitted with different stitching methods. I used the herring bone stitch and the chain stitch to recreate baseball seams, and finally stitched the patch onto the t-shirt using a whip-stitch.
