We started off by brainstorming all different kinds of domains we could use. We wanted to use one or two domains that we were already pretty comfortable with, but also explore some technology that was new to us. We were both interested by how proximity sensors worked, and so we decided to incorporate them as the first step.We sketched our schematic and wired the device at the same time, sketching each component before we wired it. We wired and sketched the whole thing before we wrote any code.We quickly discovered that because of the simplicity of our device and the parts used, we didn’t need any external libraries.
