We want the form of the materials to call to mathematical forms found in nature– many of our initial ideas reference either hyperbolic forms (such as coral, modeled in crochet) or fractals.

Experiments to scale up and in place:

Scaling up in crotchet will take time and we do not have the right materials yet so we built this armature to test how it will work at a bigger scale.
This is a prototype of the scale we are looking for

This is the final location we landed on, we hope that this location allows for people walking by to play with it and those working inside to have something to look onto that is a call to nature.
