Welcome! Today we will review your technical proof-of-concept samples, then meet with each individual group.
Administrative
The deadlines and deliverables for the final performance project are outlined on the project brief.
In two weeks we will have a critique of your projects. This will be 1.5 weeks before our reception.
Technical proof-of-concept demonstration
We’ll review each group’s results in turn.
Group Meetings
We will circulate and meet briefly with each group.
The critical questions to resolve now: how has your concept evolved? What questions do you have about interfacing with the infrastructure? What are the most unknown techniques or design elements still unresolved?
Assignment
For Tue April 4: Keep working on your project. Please be prepared to demonstrate in class. This should have enough of the concept resolved and technical elements working to be presented as a standalone mini-installation experience.
