In Class
  1. Presentation and Practice: From Sloper to Pattern
    From Sloper to Patterns (powerpoint file)

  2. During Wednesday class students will continue to be fitted.
  3. Seam Finishing Samples should be completed by now. Students should begin working on Sewing Samples: Simple Seams Under Constraint. Both sets of samples need to be finished by October 11. Please ask Natalya for help with sewing if you are struggling with sewing results.Extras:  Bubble/Balloon Skirt

Homework
  1. Post 5-10 shirts/tops on Pinterest. Exclude anything with corsets. Find images appropriate for cotton and linen fabrics.
  2. Complete Seam Finishing Samples and Sewing Samples: Simple Seams Under Constraint, due: October 11.
  3. Begin working on Moulage 3 or Sloper (dependent on individual student’s progress). To adjust Moulage draft for sloper, please follow Suzy Furrer’s videos: Drafting the Bodice Sloper (25:50) and Trueing the Sloper (26:36). Outside of class fitting times will be scheduled.
