I put together all the limbs onto a more sturdy headpiece and added strands/patches of silk and this was the result:
When I tried to wear it on my head, it fell apart so the base is probably still not sturdy enough. In general I think I succeeded in generating the motion that I wanted to in the beginning, although the final result doesn’t look very polished. I also think it would be fun to continue experimenting with different types/patterns of fabric attached to the parasite, because I orignally wanted to create a web between the dowels that hangs in front of the face.
I don’t have a very concrete interpretation of how the parasite feeds/lives off the host yet still. Maybe it feeds off the hosts emotions and will do a funny dance/motion in response. Or maybe it acts as a fun hat that can give the host shade when it’s very sunny outside.
