This week we were still focused mainly on the mechanism of the net fabric — we succeeded in getting elliptical motion instead of circular motion so that there is less vertical motion when the net closes. We also achieved a reset mechanism by attaching 4 more strings to our net, which we plan to attach a counterweight to so that the net can reset to its expanded position after someone closes it.

Next, we will focus on the lighting since that is a major component of our piece!
