SEM Reminder

The following students are scheduled to use the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) with Donna Stolz at the Pitt Center for Biologic Imaging (CBI) on Wednesday (tomorrow).

  • 9am-10am — marimonda
  • 11 am-12pm — shrugbread
  • 12pm-1pm — bumble_b
  • 1pm-2pm — miniverse
  • 3pm-4pm — sensoruncensored

DIRECTIONS to the Pitt CBI: The CBI is located on the 2nd Floor of the Pitt Biomedical Science Tower, located between Darragh and Lothrop streets (also bounded by Terrace St and Victoria St), northwest of Fifth Avenue in Oakland. Essentially, walk, bus, bike, or scooter to the corner of Fifth Ave and Lothrop Street. Walk up “Cardiac Hill” to the Eye and Ear Institute on the left hand side of the street (across from the Presby Emergency room driveway, right before all the construction that has closed the upper part of the road). Enter the E&E lobby and continue past the security desks on the right to the second set of elevators on the left. Take elevator the second floor. Enter the CBI double glass doors, go left, then right, then go into the first room on the left towards the back to the SEM room. Donna will put up “ExCAP” signs to follow.
