We were inspired by the idea that phantasmagoria reveals the true nature of humans with its illusion and multisensory effects. Going off of the idea of a shadow form engulfing a human, we wanted to make an installation where two people face each other as if they are facing a mirror and one being real and the other being a reflected version that uncovers the unseen possibilities.

Using the tilt motion, as the two turn their head to each other and make eye contact, the shadow starts to inflate, fully swallowing the mirrored version. We also want to add fingertip contact switch on both players so that as they make a contact with their fingertips, the inflatable starts to glow, possibly representing the self in more desired state.
