The Visceral Arm

The scale could be big but for this context would be on the smaller side since it is with the hands. The fingers will trigger the actuation for the arm. There would be inflatable or origami pop-ups to replicate when nature evolves/grows over time. Materials could range from metals, fabrics, paper, and even shells.

Was inspired by these metal jewelries but wanted to extend to the arm.

Porcupine Mood

The scale would be smaller. I think it could be fun to have an actuator triggered when someone steps on the back of your shoes. Like a porcupine, the anklet will extend out and show that you are angry. As I sketched this, I realized that it could also be on your back to help notify people to not bother you. The materials could be chipboard or paper.
