For this first prototype, we were interested in exploring the simple actuation of progressive inflation, or daisy-chain effect. We were also interested in exploring to expressively unfurl a flowering shape.

For the first prototype, we explored the use of a single, thinner pouch of air that connects two flowering shapes in series.

For the second prototype, we used a pre-made flower with daisy-chain actuation from beneath the flower.

Prototype 2
